After the closure of Hangry Al’s in 2023, Elizabeth felt the deep loss—not just in her heart, but also in the hearts of her loyal customers. It was during this time of reflection that she realized her passion for baking was far from over. She had a mission to continue sharing her craft—her unpretentious, yet exceptional approach to desserts. Thus, The Gilded Carrot was born, a place where old-fashioned cakes and organic ingredients come together to create something truly special.
